Hi, I'm Hinrich
.
I design and build apps and websites
, and shoot films
.
Studying business at UZH
in Zürich.
Apps
Designed, built and shipped by me. All live on the App Store.
Rovy→Drive tracker & stats
Records every drive with speed, G‑forces and your route. On iPhone, Watch and CarPlay.
The idea
See what really happened on a drive: speed, G‑forces and the route, plus a 0 to 100 timer, replays and a leaderboard with friends.
How it works
G‑forces come from the phone's motion sensors. While the car stands still, Rovy measures the sensor drift and removes it, turns every reading into the car's direction using the GPS heading and filters out bumps. That is how it spots hard braking and sharp turns.
Everywhere you drive
CarPlay shows live stats with start and stop buttons, the Watch adds your heart rate, and a Live Activity keeps the drive on the lock screen.
Built with
SwiftUI, Core Motion, CarPlay, HealthKit, WatchConnectivity, Supabase
Stashy→Save anything
Links, photos, PDFs and voice memos, kept in one calm place. AI runs on device.
The idea
Saved things end up scattered across ten different apps. Stashy keeps links, photos, PDFs and voice memos in one calm place.
How it works
All the AI runs on the device with Apple's Foundation Models: summaries, categories, keywords and answers to questions about your library. Nothing goes to a server, and voice memos are transcribed on the phone too.
Search in any language
Keywords are stored in English, so a search in another language is translated once and still finds everything.
Built with
SwiftUI, Foundation Models, Core Data with iCloud sync, a native Mac app, Share Extension, Spotlight
shuffl→Play cards
Every phone at the table becomes a hand of cards. Forty games from thirty countries.
The idea
Every phone at the table becomes a hand of cards. Forty games from thirty countries, with their names in 59 languages.
How it works
Online, only the moves travel. Every phone shuffles the same deck from a shared seed, so the deal is never sent and nobody needs an account. Open tables nearby show up on their own.
The details
Cards shimmer with a Metal foil shader driven by the gyroscope, and a Live Activity shows your hand and how many turns until yours.
Built with
SwiftUI, Metal, Supabase, Bonjour, ActivityKit
Film
Travel edits and short films, shot on a pocket camera and a drone
. Always learning, always shooting.
